BioI'm currently in grad school at U of M, working on my Masters in Library & Information Services so I can be an academic librarian.
Despite that very dry description, I have a good and often immature sense of humor. I like cats, I knit a lot, I'm opposed to drugs, alcohol, censorship and organized religion. I am pro-choice and think academia needs to chill on being so pretentious.
Other than knitting, I am not an artist. I don't "get" most art or poetry and don't see the function of most art pieces. I like things to be aesthetically pleasing, but it must also be functional. I don't collect trinkets, but I do have too much yarn. I prefer to read non-fiction, particularly science and crime.
I'm friendly, helpful and organized, but also neurotic, short-tempered and shy.
